One of the most effective approaches to limit the access to your Internet site is to block the IP addresses of individuals which mustn't be able to open it. There are several good reasons to do that. For instance, you may want a particular individual not to be able to see your site, or you may limit the access for a whole country. You can even block IP addresses in case you discover that there are lots of browser requests from them, if many spam comments are left in your Internet sites or if a script login page has been loaded numerous times. In each of these situations, the traffic is most probably fake and has been created by an automatic bot, so you can safely block any questionable IP address, in order to be on the safe side. IP Blocking in Cloud Hosting

If you have a cloud hosting account with us and you wish to block one or several IP addresses, you may use the IP Blocking tool, that's incorporated into our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel. Using a rather simple interface, you could restrict any IP from accessing your content even if you have not had a web hosting account before. All it requires to complete that is to log in to your Control Panel, to visit the IP Blocking section, to choose a specific domain or subdomain from a drop-down menu and then to enter the IP address. You shall not have to do anything complex if you would like to block a whole network - you'll just need to omit the last octet, so entering 1.1.1. with a blank space after the last dot shall block the whole range from 1.1.1.1 to 1.1.1.255. All blocked IPs shall be listed inside the very same section, so you shall be able to remove any of them from the blacklist with just a mouse click.
