Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Started in 2001, the .NAME universal top-level domain is the sole TLD intended for personal websites only. These domain names can be personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other labels people are famous by. Initially, only 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to purchase john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already grabbed 3rd-level names remained online.

You will have the opportunity to change the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our company if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization key from the present domain registrar and we will renew it after the transfer has been finalized.
